George is a founding principal at Engage. Prior to Engage, George managed policy and communications initiatives for a U.S. senator, advocacy organizations, associations, companies, and a television network. He has worked with Senator John Kerry, Avaya, PBS, Palo Alto Networks, Citrix, Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, Nutanix, Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association Foundation, Rockefeller Family Fund, C.S. Mott Foundation, and others.
George has worked at high levels of government, dealing with Congress, the White House and federal agencies, with international, state and local governments, with advocacy organizations and businesses. He has managed educational and advocacy initiatives, the creation and operation of associations and technology user groups, along with media strategy and coverage. George has written for senators, congressmen, and CEOs. He is a graduate of Kenyon College. When not working, George spends his time with his family, surfs, hikes, fishes, and coaches youth lacrosse.
